Born and raised in Pennsylvania Molly began working professionally when she was thirteen years old at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater in a production called The Snow Queen. Soon after she played Little Red Ridinghood in the Arden Theater s production of Into the Woods for which she was nominated for the Barrymore Award. In 2002, she played the role of Little Red Ridinghood in Into the Woods in Broadway when she was 15, and earned an Drama League Award nomination. Molly was also in the cast of the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof, in 2004. She then attended Princeton University where she was a member of the Triangle Club and graduated in 2008 with the degree of a B.A. It was during this time that she made her movie debut in Disney's College Road Trip as Wendy Greenhut. In this period, she made her debut in the role of Wendy Greenhut in Disney's College Road Trip. Molly started her acting career following having completed her Off-Broadway stage debuts, which included End Days and The Wonderful Maladys on HBO Pilot. Molly has been in several regional plays including The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in the Barrington Stage Company, North Shore Music Theatre as well as the Westport Country Playhouse's show The Diary of Anne Frank.
